  Physical Layer
 
 

Physical Servers, Storage and network devices make the Physical Layer.

A Physical Server dedicated for the FluidVM Management Platform is recommended.

Storage can be central and thus easy to manage.

 
  Virtual Layer
 
 

FluidVM supports FullVM and Container based hypervisors.

Currently FullVM supported is Xen and Container supported is openVZ.

Each FullVM based Compute Node can run a variety of unmodified operating systems.

Each Container based Computer Node can run even hundreds of Linux VMs.

 
  Management Layer
 
 

Unified Interface to manage any VM whether running on a FullVM or Container based hypervisors.

Create Multiple Virtual Datacenters (VDCs) . Each VDC can contain a mix of FullVM and Container based Compute Nodes (CNs).

Advanced features like VMBalance, HotMigrate, VMEvict, ServiceEnsure, Virtual Appliance Integration, User management, VLAN management apart from VM Lifecycle Management.

Flexible and varied Storage Management.
